Beginning Sept. 11, all southbound I-5 lanes will close in Portland between Broadway/Weidler and I-84. The closure, which will allow for the replacement of the road surface, will last for five weeks and create potentially significant travel disruptions. ODOT expects congestion to extend into Washington and for southbound travel to take two or three times as long. In this webinar, representatives of the Oregon Department of Transportation discuss the project, its likely effects and planned detours.
