The 2024 Vision Oregon Event will take place on the afternoon of Oct. 23 at the Portland Art Museum. This page will provide additional details, including registration instructions and program information, as the event grows closer.

OBI’s signature event, Vision Oregon typically begins with a cocktail reception during which business leaders network and talk with elected officials and other invited guests. The event program includes a keynote address by a noted speaker, a panel discussion focusing on a timely issue and the recognition of Oregon Visionary Award recipients.

OBI presents the Oregon Visionary Award to individuals, companies or organizations that, through steadfast service to their communities, illuminate a path to shared prosperity built upon a thriving state economy with opportunity for all Oregonians. Awardees are those willing to set aside individual interests and politics to bring Oregonians together around a common set of values with a focus on practical solutions to the most difficult challenges of our time.

OBI’s 2023 Vision Award honorees are the Families First Childcare Center and the Oregon Manufacturing Innovation Center (OMIC R&D). Learn more about these organizations here and follow the links below to watch videos about their work.

The 2023 keynote address was delivered by futurist Steve Brown. He discussed some of the things businesses should know if they want to survive and thrive in the artificial intelligence era.

Following his keynote address, Brown moderated a panel discussion involving three business leaders, who shared their experiences with this transformation.
