The second round of voting in the 2025 Coolest Thing Made in Oregon contest has narrowed the list of finalists to four. They are:
• Bullseye Glass’ Art Glass (Portland)
• Daimler Truck North America’s Western Star X-Series Trucks (Portland)
• Oshkosh AeroTech’s LEKTRO Electric Aircraft Tugs (Warrenton)
• Tillamook County Creamery Association’s Tillamook Cheese (Tillamook)
Voting began three weeks ago with 16 finalists representing a wide variety of products manufactured throughout the state, from Pendleton to Tillamook. The first round of voting cut the list to eight, and the second round, which concluded on Sept. 29 at noon, cut the field in half again.
Voting in the contest’s semifinal round opened at midnight on Sept. 30 and will continue until noon on Oct. 6. Oregonians can download a printable bracket and learn about all of the Coolest Thing finalists on OBI’s website here. They should go here to vote for their favorites.
The Coolest Thing Made in Oregon contest, now in its third year, is presented by Oregon Business & Industry in partnership with Here is Oregon. A panel chose this year’s finalists from scores of products nominated by Oregonians over the spring and summer. The manufacturers of the final two products will be invited to OBI’s annual Vision Oregon Event Oct. 22, where the winner will be announced.
