BASX Solutions manufactures high-efficiency HVAC systems for a range of industries at its 200,000-square-foot facility in Redmond. Its products include data center cooling systems, clean room systems and custom HVAC systems. The company has grown rapidly since it was founded in 2012, and in 2017 INC Magazine named BASX Solutions the nation’s fastest growing manufacturer.
BASX Solutions serves many industries. Its clean room systems are used by laboratories and pharmaceutical companies, among others. Its commercial HVAC systems, meanwhile, can be found in airports, educational, government and military facilities. And some of its largest systems can be found in data centers, including so-called hyperscale data centers. By one definition, such data centers should include more than 5,000 servers covering at least 10,000 square feet.
In 2021, BASX Solutions was acquired by AAON, Inc., a publicly traded provider of HVAC systems based in Oklahoma. However, BASX Solutions continues to expand its footprint in Redmond, where it employs more than 500 people. The company plans to build a 35,000-square-foot welding facility on a 2-acre plot adjacent to its existing plant.
