Gov. Kate Brown has announced that, effective April 19, all Oregonians 16 and older can sign up to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. You are encouraged to register here to receive information on making appointments.
The vaccination timeline has been accelerated several times due to increases in shipments from the federal government. The new statewide eligibility on April 19 is nearly three weeks ahead of the previous schedule, which had May 1 as the date when all Oregonians could sign up.
On April 5, frontline workers and their families, as well as Oregonians 16 and older with underlying conditions, became eligible to get the vaccine. You can learn more about who qualifies as a “frontline” worker and other information here.
The Oregon Health Authority has created an employer toolkit that can help you prepare your workers to receive the vaccine as they become eligible.
